Early rise and a short hop over from Lopez Island to San Juan Island and the main port. Almost no boats around as we crossed the short stretch of calm water to get into a truly wonderful setting.
The boys spent a good chunk of the day catching shrimp in the bay. They then set up a stall selling the various things they had caught – unfortunately there were no buyers this time (perhaps their prices were a little high). We made a couple of trips into town which included a visit to the Whale Museum.
Later we took to the kayaks and paddled around Brown Island.
