…but when the weather is this good and the wildlife so abundant there really is no need to travel further. This time we had sea-otters swimming ’round the boat and more (and bigger) fish than any time before. We kayaked from the west side across the north side of the island to the marina and back again. The first leg was in the morning mist so we stayed close in shore – on the way back the mist had burnt off and we could enjoy views of Seattle, Bainbridge Island and across Puget Sound.
